On 21/11/2021, an Intuitive and informative workshop titled, “Policy Measures for Trading in PSX & Market Abuse" was organized under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Awais – Associate Professor (Economics & Finance). The two and a half hours event was held in Video Conference Room, FURC. In this Event, around 24 students and 5 faculty members as well participated from the Department of Economics and Finance and Department of Business Administration.
On 15/11/2021, an Intuitive and informative seminar titled, “Impact of COVID-19 on Pakistan’s Economy and Way Forward" was organized under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Awais. The two hours event was held in Video Conference Room, FURC. In this Event, around 10 faculty members participated from the Department of Economics and Finance and Department of Business Administration.
Prof. Dr Naveed Babur Ch Principal Isra Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences Isra University Islamabad visited Neurological Rehabilitation Lab and Multidisciplinary Lab of Foundation University Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (FUIRS) Foundation University Islamabad with Prof Dr. Furqan Ahmed Siddiqi Dean (FUIRS). Detail Briefing regarding ongoing Projects related to Clinical Gait Analysis, Balance rehabilitation, Anti Gravity Treadmill system and training etc was given by PhD Scholar at FUIRS.
Manager UIL along with 4x Faculty members from the Department of Software Engineering visited Xylexa Inc. This collaborative visit was hosted by the Co-Founder/CEO Mr. Shahrukh Babar at Xylexa's head office located in the National Science and Technology Park, NUST H-12. During this visit, the CEO of Xylexa gave a presentation to the FUI Team followed by discussion on different aspects.
Dr. Saima Ehsan from Psychology Department (FURC) was invited as one of the Guest Speaker and Panelist in Mental Health Conference 2020 Organized by “Young Psychologist Association Pakistan”. She delivered her talk there on “Eradicating Stigmaattached to mental illness and awareness of mental health and positive behaviours”. Chief Guest Health Minister Punjab Prof. Dr. Yasmin Rashid also shared her experiences related to dealing with Dementia a Geriatric Disorder.
