Syed Taimoor Hassan, Director BIC, Foundation University Islamabad (FUI), joined the FCDO roundtable at National Incubation Center (NIC), Islamabad on 13 th June 2025 with the UK Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
The session provided a valuable platform for strategic dialogue on enhancing export-led growth, addressing trade barriers, and identifying key opportunities for technical assistance, particularly in the IT and ICT sectors.
The Foundation University Business Incubation Center (FUBIC) organized an insightful industrial visit for our Tourism and Hospitality students and faculty on 5 th June 2025 to DHAI-R Jacaranda.
This visit aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world practices by exposing students to innovative hospitality operations, industry standards, and tourism strategies in action.
The energy was electric on June 2nd as we kicked off the 1st Round of the 9th Cohort
sessions at the FUBIC Conference Room!

esteemed jury:

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Foundation University Islamabad (FUI) and Blue Lagoon Complex, Rawalpindi on May 16, 2025. Syed Taimoor Hassan, Director FUBIC, FUI, and Col Asim Saleem Khan (R), SI(M), CEO, Blue Lagoon, inked the agreement for discount packages to the FUI Family.

Team Crazy Ciphers from FUSST secured 2nd place in the NUMLogic Computing Quiz Competition, showcasing their skills in core computing disciplines. Students Umair Waheed and Raja Muhammad Ali received recognition and awards for their exceptional performance. The achievement highlights the talent and quality of education at FUSST. Congratulations to the students for their well-deserved success.
The Placement & Outreach Office, in collaboration with the Pakistan Girl Guides Association (PGGA), organized a four-day training from April 21–24, 2025, focused on personal safety, online security, substance abuse prevention, and emotional wellbeing. Led by Ms. Saba Shahab (Deputy Director Training, PGGA) and Ms. Faiza Awan (Trainer, PGGA), the program trained female students from English, Management Sciences, Economics & Finance, and Software Engineering departments.
