Self-Postgraduate Program Review (PGPR) of Foundation University Islamabad 2023-2024

The Self Postgraduate Program Review (PGPR) of MS and PhD programs of FUI was carried out by the Department of Quality Assurance (DQA) on January 24, 2024, at Foundation University School of Science & Technology, Rawalpindi. The External Review Panel comprised the following members:

1. Dr. Khalid Mumtaz, Principal, Bahria Business School, Bahria University, Islamabad.

2. Dr. Faisal Shafait, HoD (Faculty of Computing), NUST School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS), Islamabad.

3. Dr. Inayat Ullah, HoD (English), National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad.

4. Dr. Mudassir Mukhtar, HoD, Department of Media and Communication Studies, National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad.

5. Ms. Aliya Abdul Hayee, Program Manager MS (Clinical Psychology), SZABIST University, Islamabad

6. Prof. Dr. Waqar Ahmed Awan, HoD, MS Physical Therapy (MSPT), Faculty of Rehabilitation and Allied Health Sciences (FRAHS), Riphah University, Islamabad.

7. Dr. Hina Samdani, Associate Professor, Bahria Business School, Bahria University, Islamabad

8. Prof. Dr. Majid Iqbal Khan, HoD, Computer Science, Comsats University, Islamabad

The Panel diligently examined the PGPR forms, student files, and faculty files, prepared in accordance with HEC guidelines. Additionally, interactive sessions were conducted with MS and PhD scholars, as well as faculty members. The exit meeting served as a platform for the Review Panel to convey their recommendations to the A/Director FUSST, outlining areas for further improvement in the postgraduate programs. The insights gained through this thorough review process will undoubtedly contribute to the ongoing enhancement of programs’ quality.
