POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM REVIEW (PGPR)

Postgraduate Program Review (PGPR)

The evaluation of Master's and PhD programs (level 7 & 8) is conducted through a rigorous peer-review process, aligning with the criteria established by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to continuously enhance program quality. An annual Self Postgraduate Program Review (PGPR) is held by DQA, featuring an external panel of experts invited from various universities with specialization in relevant areas. This panel meticulously examines PGPR forms, student files, and faculty files which are prepared in accordance with HEC guidelines. Additionally, interactive sessions are organized with MS and PhD scholars, as well as faculty members. The culmination of this thorough evaluation process is an exit meeting with the Rector of FUI, during which the Review Panel communicates their recommendations for further improvement. This comprehensive approach ensures ongoing enhancement and quality assurance of FUI’s postgraduate programs.
