Bournemouth University (BU) and FUI are academic partners since 2020. This partnership served as a basis on which potential future collaborations are explored and included recognition of FUI programmes allowing advanced entry to corresponding programmes at Bournemouth University.

In May 2023, Both FUI and BU signed Recognition Agreement, which sets out the arrangements for BU to recognize FUI programmes and units so that students who have completed them successfully can apply for entry into Top-up level 6 of the corresponding AACSB accredited Programmes at BU Business School as shown below:

BS Accounting & Finance (BSAF)

BA International Finance

BS Tourism & Hospitality (BST&H)

Note: The Recognition Agreement does not guarantee entry onto BU programmes – students must apply for admission in the usual way and that BU will apply its normal admission requirements to all applications, including:

·         admissions policies and procedures.

·         English language entry qualifications.

·         capacity limits; and

·         programme specific entry requirements.

Entry requirements for September 2023 and 2024
English Language: IELTS 6.0 (Academic) or above with minimum of 5.5 in each component of Writing, speaking, listening, and reading.

Application Process Guide

Interested eligible students are requested to submit their Top-up degree application through the UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admission Service) website. Bournemouth University has an International Admissions Team available to assist you throughout the application process and keep you informed about the status of your application. Alternatively, you can use the UCAS Hub to track the progress of your application.

Please make sure sure you have the correct UCAS codes for the courses you're interested in, as well as the right institution codes when you fill in your application. Key Application Deadlines

Applications for undergraduate courses starting in September 2023 are open from 6 September 2022 and 30 June 2023 is the deadline for applications for the majority of courses if you are an international student. You’ll find a full timetable of dates on the UCAS site. There is only one intake in September each year.

Pre-Sessional Courses Where appropriate, BU may forward your information to Bournemouth University International College so that they can contact you to offer a pre-sessional or preparatory course relevant to your application to BU.
