Foundation University is committed to promote research and publications among its faculty and students by encouraging basic and applied research in all disciplines including medicine, social sciences, education, engineering and management sciences. In view of this commitment, the Foundation University established Research Committee FUI in 2009.This was done to consolidate and further strengthen research activities at FUI.
The Committee aims to develop polices that facilitate research culture by providing research grants and financial incentives to the researchers. It endeavors to create an environment in which the faculty and students can interact across departments and campuses of the Foundation University.
The Research Committee FUI meets on a monthly basis and considers applications from faculty for funding of research projects, payments of publication fee and for attending various national and international seminars/conferences. The Committee also reviews the research output of faculty members and accordingly nominates the names of researchers for different incentives and awards.
