FUMC provides financial assistance to the needy and deserving students as per policy in vogue.

The available amount shall be distributed among the deserving students on the merit of each case as deemed appropriate by the FAC.

The Financial Assistance is granted for one year and applications are received as per following schedule:

Fresh applications should reach the Student Affairs by 4th Monday   of Feb and 4th Monday of Nov

Applications for renewal of financial assistance must reach the Student’s Affairs by 2nd Monday of Feb and 2nd Monday of Nov

FUMC evaluates and processes the applications of the deserving students to Financial Assistance Committee (FAC), who submits its recommendations of financial assistance to FUI for final approval.

Eligibility:

A student is eligible for Financial Assistance as a fresh case if he/she:

Is a registered student of FUMC.

Is not involved in any disciplinary case.

Has not failed in any subject.

Is not drawing financial benefit from any other source equivalent to 50% of the tuition fee of that year.

If the student is drawing financial benefit from any other source he/she will not be eligible for financial assistance of more than 25% of the tuition fee. 

For continuation of financial assistance, the student will be eligible if he/she:

Has a minimum 55% mark in last examination.

Maintains and improves the minimum marks i.e. 55% marks in the year for   which financial assistance is granted.
