The students are required to abide by the rules and regulations of the FUMC. The college administration expects and demands absolute integrity and honesty from its students concerning their day to day life in the College. Unethical behaviour during any test/examination or anywhere else may result in removal from the College rolls. Other causes of removal will include submitting false evidence stealing willful destruction of College equipment furnishings or property physical violence against other students/faculty members/staff/patients use of intoxicating drugs possession and use of arms/ammunition in the College/hostel violation of civil rights of others indulgence in union activities or working for political parties organization of civil disturbance and non-payment of fees/dues. Prolonged absence from academic activities without permission from the College authorities or inability to cope with the curriculum shall also be a cause for removal form the college rolls.
A student who remains absent without leave for a period of four consecutive weeks will be struck off the College rolls. He/she may however be readmitted on the recommendation of the College Academic Council requiring the student to once again deposit only the Admission Fee.
Smoking
The FUMC campus hostel and the hospital premises are “No Smoking Areas” for faculty staff and students.
Counselling
The senior faculty members are designated as class teachers to provide guidance in all the academic/personal affairs of the students. The students are encouraged to seek help for timely solution of their problems. Counselling does build confidence in the students and they never feel alone when facing any problem related to academics or their person.
