HEC-
Japanese Need Based Scholarships program for the Pakistani University students
aims at providing equal opportunities to talented students, who are unable to
get higher education due to financial constraints. Foundation University
Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences shall provide 5-scholarships
to selected candidates in BBA Hons(8-semesters , 4-years programme) in
Management Sciences and 5-scholarships to selected candidates in MBA (2- years,
4-semesters programme) of Management Sciences in accordance with the prescribed
procedure of HEC.
ASSESSMENT
PROCEDURE (Japanese Need Base Scholarship)
1.
Students
applying for admission and financial assistance will fill both the application
and financial assistance forms and submit them to the FUIEMS Admission Office.
2.
The
Admission Office will select the candidates that are eligible for admission and
out of the selected candidates, financial aid forms for those who are
requesting assistance will be submitted to the University Financial
Assistance Committee.
3.
The
Office of Financial Assistance Committee (FAC) will analyze the forms and carry
out an investigation into the validity of the information provided in the
forms. This would involve carrying out random background checks and contacting
financial institutions to verify the validity of the financial statements that
the student has provided. Based on its findings and the information provided by
the students FAC will recommend the applications to Rector-FUI for approval and
onward submission to HEC.
